The Center for Global Law and Justice (CGLJ) is a Center of Excellence at the Northeastern University School of Law. Northeastern University is based in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

CGLJ values the privacy of our donors, partners, online visitors, and all those with whom we interact online. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and we will never sell or rent your information to anyone. We will not use your personal information for any purpose other than communicating with you, sharing news and information about our work, or soliciting your support. How CGLJ Collects Data
CGLJ does not collect personal data from people who simply visit or use our website. You can browse cglj.org and download CGLJ’s materials without revealing to us your identity or any personal information.
CGLJ collects information from online visitors and donors on a limited and voluntary basis. We collect personal information, provided to us directly from the individual, through the following interactions:
- Online sign-ups to our mailing lists (via Constant Contact)
- Online and printed forms to register for, attend, or sign in at an CGLJ event

The types of personal information we collect, when provided to CGLJ by an individual, can include:

CGLJ also collects non-personal data for purposes of assessing our impact and improving our site and communications. This non-personal information is aggregated through tools including Google Analytics and WordPress, and may include:

How CGLJ Uses Your Data
CGLJ does not share, sell, or rent the personal data and non-personal data that we collect, except in the circumstances outlined in this policy. Our ordinary use of this data is limited to tailoring and improving our services, communicating with you, sharing information and invitations with you, requesting feedback and other information from you, and soliciting your support for CGLJ’s work.
Except as necessary to comply with the law or a legal process, CGLJ will not disclose the personal data that we collect. Third party service providers that also collect or have access to this data are not subject to CGLJ’s privacy policy.
Cookies & Embedded Content
CGLJ uses services that rely on cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze non-personal information about the use of our website and other online platforms. The CGLJ website uses cookies from: Google Analytics.
The CGLJ website features embedded content, including images and videos, from other websites. Your Consent to Communications
CGLJ sends e-mail messages to our users. If you no longer want to receive such emails from us going forward, you may opt-out via the “unsubscribe” link provided in each such email.
Personal Information of Minors
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, and we request that children under 13 not provide personal information to us online.
International Cross-Border Data Transfer
CGLJ uses servers hosted in the United States. Please note that we may be transferring your information outside of your region for storage and processing in the United States and around the globe. By using our website and other online platforms, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have data protection rules that are different from those of your country.
