DESCRIPTION:The Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) is scheduled to hold its 116th session in Geneva\, Switzerland. According to the NGO Information Note\, any civil society organizations wanting to attend the Session must register by November 3. All public meetings of the Committee are also generally webcast live at http://webtv.un.org/. During this session\, the Committee will consider reports from Buundi\, Guatemala\, Maldives\, New Zealand\, Sweden and Tunisia; lists of issues prior to reporting for Laos\, Japan\, Panama and Tonga; and the need for urgent action procedures or early warning measures. An annotated provisional agenda is now available on the session page. \nThe Committee will also hold informal meetings and lunchtime briefings with NGO representatives who have submitted written contributions. NGO representatives must register for these separately via email to the Secretariat at ohchr-cerd@un.org. \n  \nPlease note that several of the treaty body webpages currently warn that “due to the United Nations Regular Budget Liquidity Situation\,” the agenda\, dates and modality of treaty body sessions may be subject to change. DESCRIPTION:The Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families (CMW) is scheduled to hold its 41st session in Geneva\, Switzerland. During this session\, the Committee will consider the second periodic reports of Honduras\, Indonesia\, and Mauritania. The Committee will also adopt a list of issues for Colombia\, as well as lists of issues prior to reporting for Albania and Uganda. According to the Information Note for Civil Society Organizations\, the Committee requests that written or oral submissions of information be transmitted to the Committee by November 3. Those wishing to publicly address the Committee during the session must submit their request by November 14. Those wishing to attend in-person any public sessions of the Committee are also required to register using the Indico system.
