CERD, Civil Society Submissions Due

August 25

In preparation for its 116th session, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) is accepting written contributions from NGOs and other civil society actors to inform the following:

  • The Committee’s adoption of lists of issues prior to reporting for Laos, Japan, Panama and Tonga.
  • The Committee’s assessment of reports following up on the most recent concluding observations issued to Bolivia, Mexico, Moldova, San Marino and Viet Nam.
  • The Committee’s consideration of the need for early warning measures or urgent action procedures (EWUAP).
