Call for Input, UN SR on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories
December 10, 2025
The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories has issued a call for input to inform an upcoming report on “specific acts and methods of torture and ill-treatment committed against Palestinians” and “structural or collective practices that intentionally inflict severe physical or mental pain or suffering for prohibited purposes, including punishment, intimidation, coercion, and discrimination.” The report will be presented to the UN Human Rights Council in March 2026.
