Call for Input, UN SR on the right to education
January 25, 2026
The UN Special Rapporteur on the right to education has issued a call for input to inform an upcoming thematic report on that “intends to take stock of the implementation of international standards and guidelines, national legislation and policies, as well as promising practices, aimed to ensure that the substantive content of the right to education is conceived, designed and implemented with the view to guarantee the full enjoyment of the right to education for all.” The Special Rapporteur is inviting input from civil society organizations, academics, and educators, as well as from children and young people.
